Software DeveloperLocation: Chico

Auctiva is currently looking to grow our development team, at all levels. Successful candidates should be highly motivated, have a lot of initiative and the desire to work on database driven web applications and services using the latest development technologies and tools.

 

You will be responsible for designing and developing significant new functionality as well as helping to maintain the existing websites and windows services. You will work with other engineers, support staff and other areas of the company in our fast paced development environment.

 

Requirements:

·         Web application development experience

·         Experience with ASP.Net

·         2+ yrs OO programming & design, including experience with C# or C++

·         Development experience with MS Windows

·         Skilled in the software development life cycle, relational database design and SQL Server 2005 programming using stored procedures

·         Demonstrate effective communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment

·         BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience 

·         Experience providing web services and web APIs created in C# using WCF desired

Marketing ManagerLocation: Chico

Key Responsibilities of the Marketing Manager will include:

·         Developing and measuring marketing campaigns based on business insights from data analysis

·         Generating customer insight from customer research and metrics that will drive marketing programs.

·         Staying current with industry trends, competitors, and partners to influence company goals.

·         Growing a marketing team to help meet our marketing and customer acquisition goals

·         Driving cost-effective new customer acquisition by developing metrics-driven direct response marketing campaigns

Required Experience:

·         3-5 years experience in lead or managerial marketing role

·         Experience in leveraging Google Analytics to drive strategic marketing decisions

·         Blogger outreach experience

·         Experience using data analytics to drive marketing decisions

·         Experience leading a team of  “do-ers”

·         Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or other related field of study


Preferred Experience:

·         Creating marketing for an eCommerce company

·         Acquiring new users for a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company and/or upgraded users based upon a freemium model

·         Experience selling online through craigslist, eBay, Amazon or others

·         Engaged social media influencer on Twitter, Facebook and/or your own blog

Jr. Data AnalystLocation: Chico

Auctiva is currently seeking a highly motivated, service oriented individual to work as a Jr. Data Analyst. This individual will be gathering reporting requirements, writing SQL queries, and generating reports as well as ensuring data quality, and supporting end users of the Data Warehouse.

Successful candidates will possess:

·         Strong understanding of databases

·         Experience writing SQL Queries

·         Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel

·         A solid understanding of JavaScript

·         An understanding of statistical data

·         Proven experience in being a clear communicator in a team setting

·         An Associates or Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
