KickItBack.com this week announced a couple of major enhancements. First, users can now get cash back for shopping with more than 60 retailers. Along with this expanded offering, the KickItBack site now has a more functional interface to help users take full advantage of the program's benefits.

The site—which has traditionally rewarded users who shop on eBay—has partnered with a wide variety of retailers to provide its existing users and new signups a more versatile service.

"We're very excited to be announcing this vast expansion of KickItBack," says Robert Green, KickItBack's project manager. "The changes we've added allow members to use the same free, easy-to-use service they're familiar with to save when shopping with a growing list of several dozen online retailers."

New online retailers added to the KickItBack program include Avon, baby universe, Flower.com, Foot Locker, GameStop, iTunes, Macy's, Office Depot and Overstock.com. KickBack percentages vary by retailer but in some cases exceed 10 percent of the purchase.

Key to the interface changes this release brings is the site's new My Account window that appears as a sidebar on every KickItBack page. This window shows users their balance, the number of referrals they've made and the total money they've earned to date in one glance. Cashout and Tell a Friend buttons will also make using KickItBack easier. And links to resources such as How KickItBack Works, the Referral Program, Link to KickItBack and Frequently Asked Questions also appear on every page for added convenience.

But KickItBack's changes don't mean the site is steering away from eBay. The online selling site continues to be an important part of KickItBack, and users will have no problem searching for items on eBay. Advanced Search and an eBay button will take users directly to eBay. The new KickItBack site even has an entire tab devoted to eBay, which displays eBay items shoppers have been watching and instructions on installing KickItBack Toolbar Buttons and desktop widgets to save users time.

According to Green, KickItBack aims to add several dozen more members to its network of online retailers offering cash back rewards over the next couple of months. "The next few months should bring new functional and interface improvements as well," he promises.
