Unique eBay Auctions

2 Cents Worth
Everyone's got an opinion about something. Fortunately, this seller knew exactly where to stick his—right in this paper sack. If you're the lucky winner of this auction, you can take your two cents and put it wherever you like (may we suggest a piggy bank?). We can't explain the asking price, though. Inflation, perhaps?

Wanted: Caddy
Ever dream of becoming a golf celebrity? Here's your chance: For a few grand, you can buy the opportunity to carry the clubs of PGA rising star J.B. Holmes in the 2009 FBR Open in Scottsdale, AZ later this month and rub elbows with some of the top-ranked players on the pro circuit. Not only will your winning bid help support a fine charity, it'll get you a nice vacation at a swanky desert resort—and some cool swag to sell on eBay.

Say it With a Spud
Valentine's Day is just around the corner. And what better way to proclaim your affection for that special someone than with a heart-shaped potato? No, it doesn't sparkle, or even smell nice. But sometimes the way to someone's heart really is through their stomach. If nothing else, this unique gift will be memorable.

How Will You Drive Traffic to Auctiva Commerce Stores?
I see a lot of questions about fees, but I'm more interested in what Auctiva will do to drive traffic to Auctiva Commerce stores. The great draw of eBay is the huge amount of traffic the site generates. Without buyer traffic (not just people using Auctiva to list), the fees are immaterial. What kind of SEO is included in Auctiva Commerce? Jeff Schlicht answers this and other questions from Auctiva users. Read more.

Got a burning question about eBay, Auctiva or e-commerce in general? Through our Ask the CEO program, you can speak directly to Auctiva Chief Executive Jeff Schlicht. All you have to do is send an e-mail to "asktheceo" at the Auctiva.com domain. Selected questions will be answered by Jeff and published in an article on the Auctiva Education tab.

Please do not submit inquiries requiring an immediate response. If you need a technical issue resolved right away, please file a support request and your case will be addressed by our customer support team.

Feedback Forum

In response to "What's eBay Like for Buyers These Days?," one user writes: "Perhaps eBay should clean up the rampant issues—like Chinese sellers who are selling counterfeit coins (and notably ruining the U.S. coin market) as well as other fraud, such as producing counterfeit collectibles—before they focus on these more mundane issues. If eBay could get a grip on the dishonesty of some major sellers from foreign countries, and actually respond to sellers' issues with real people (not autobot messages), perhaps the trust might come back."  Read the entire thread, and post your response.
