Auctiva - Powerful solutions for eBay Sellers

In order to post a listing to the eBay Motors site through Auctiva, you must first select "eBay Motors" from the drop-down menu labeled "eBay Site" in the upper right-hand corner of the listing creation page. If you would like to post to eBay Motors - Parts & Accessories, that option can also be found in the same drop-down menu.

Once you have selected either "eBay Motors" or "eBay Motors - Parts & Accessories" from the "eBay Site" drop-down menu, the appropriate listing creation page will load and you will be able to select categories and other options specific to the selected site.

Listing using eBay’s Parts Compatibility feature will allow buyers to search for parts and accessories using basic information about their car or truck. The listing will also have a compatibility tab that will list all of the vehicles a particular item will fit. You will no longer need to include a list of compatible vehicles in your listing title, and instead can use the space to include the products’ brand, part type, part number, etc.

1. To create a listing using Parts Compatibility, on the lister page select eBay Motors US-Parts & Accessories.
2. Select the category. If the category selected supports Parts Compatibility, a link will appear below the category box. If there is no link to enter Parts Compatibility, then the category does not support that feature at this time.
3. Click the "Parts Compatibility" link.
4. Search for, and select, your part or accessory (Search fields will vary for different categories).
5. After you have selected the correct part and reviewed the list of compatible vehicles, click the Confirm button.
6. If you can’t find the part or accessory in eBay’s catalog, enter your own manually by clicking the "Enter Compatibility Information Manually" link.

   1. Select the year, make, model, etc. that your part is compatible with and click the "Add" button to the right.

      Note: You must make a new entry for each year, make, model, etc. of vehicle that your part is compatible with. For example, if your part is compatible for 2002-2005 Ford F-150 pickups, you need to make four entries: one for each year 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005.

   2. When you are done entering your compatibility information, click the Finish button.
7. Once your Parts Compatibility information is entered (either by selecting it from eBay’s catalog or by entering it manually), you will be taken back to the lister page to complete your ad as usual.
