- How do I file a claim?

- Locate the desired item(s) on your Sales Transactions page.
- Click the "View Insurance" link to the right of the item.
- Follow the instructions on the ensuing page to file your claim.
Please note: Shipments from the U.S. to Canada are charged Domestic rates, but claims for these shipments follow International rules. This means that claimants must wait 45 days before filing claims on lost shipments.

- How long after my item sells do I have to purchase shipping insurance?
- You must insure you item within 7 days. Items are not eligible for purchase of Auctiva Shipping Insurance if item is paid and shipped more than 7 days after sale date. Note that the Auctiva Auto-Purchase rules feature will not generate a policy where item is paid more than 7 days after sale.

- How do I enable Auctiva Shipping Insurance?

Auctiva Shipping Insurance is automatically enabled when you open your account. You can disable Auctiva Shipping Insurance via the following process:
- Hover your mouse over the "My Account" tab and click the "Auctiva Shipping Ins." Link.
- Uncheck the box next to "Enable Auctiva Shipping Insurance."
- Save your settings

- What if I am printing my shipping labels with PayPal?

You can continue to print shipping labels using PayPal, just make sure that you are not purchasing shipping insurance through PayPal.
