How to Replace Images

You can replace an image with a different image. This feature is useful if you accidentally post the wrong image. This tutorial will show you how to replace an image.

Instructions

Replacing an image cannot be undone, however you can do another "replace" in order to fix a mistakenly-replaced image.

Step 1. Select an image.

  • Hover your mouse over the Images tab and click on the "Manage" link (Figure 1.1). The Image Management page will load.
  • Find the image you want to replace. Use the filtering and search tools, if necessary (Figure 1.2-A).
  • Select the checkbox of the image you wish to replace (Figure 1.2-B).
  • Click on the Replace button (Figure 1.2-C). The Upload and Replace Images section will appear.

Step 2. Upload and replace image.

  • Click on the Browse button to choose an image to upload. Find the image you're looking for and select it by clicking on it.
  • Click on the Open button. The image path will be loaded into the Select Image field (Figure 2-A).
  • Change the Display Name (Figure 2-B), if necessary.
  • Choose a Folder from the drop-down menu (Figure 2-C).

  • Click on the Upload button to upload and replace the image. This may take a few seconds. A confirmation message will display when the upload is complete and image is replaced.

This completes the task of replacing an image.
