June Invoice Change

Beginning with June invoices, we're making a change that will affect all users on either our Basic, Unlimited or Premium monthly plans. Users on our Free Tools plan will not be affected.

These users will notice a charge for June's monthly plan fees on their next invoice. Whereas we have historically billed for monthly plan fees in the following month, we are transitioning to a pay-in-advance model, as is very common with many online service subscriptions.

Over the past year, since we began charging for some of our services, we’ve monitored very closely Customer Support cases related to billing. We believe this adjustment will reduce much of the confusion we've noted.

Your Invoices

In order to transition to a pay-in-advance system, June invoices will include monthly plan charges for both May and June. Although this invoice will include charges for two months of service, you will not be double-billed for any service period.

Moving forward, invoices will continue to be created during the first week of each month, but will only include monthly plan fees for the same month. Incidental charges (such as those for image hosting overages and Auctiva Shipping Insurance) will still be billed on the invoice following their occurrence. For example, an invoice created on Sept. 3, will include Sept. monthly plan fees and any incidental charges accrued in August.

Need More Time?

In order to make this transition as easy as possible, we're delaying June charging until the second week of June.

We're also providing the ability for you to postpone the transition for an additional month. For users who select this option, the invoice you receive in June will include only May charges, and the invoice you receive in July will include both June and July charges. To opt-in for postponement, follow the "My Payment Method" link under the My Account tab and select the option by checking the box provided.
