  • Buy It Now

    2:37 PM PST, 12/12/2008

So many of you have emailed and asked me for a BIN price on my items. I actually didn't know what BIN was until someone kindly told me it's "Buy It Now". I don't do that. Not anymore. I used to do it. But I had so many angry customers - people who wanted to bid on the item, no matter how high it went, or those who were angry if I sold an item before the auction closed. So I just don't offer a Buy It Now on any of my auctions. When I am bidding on an item from someone else, I always figure out what my highest offer will be and make that bid immediately. If I get outbid at the last minute - it's fine. Because I realize I wouldn't really want to spend more than my offer. I think too often we get swept up in that last minute frenzy and bid more than we really want to spend on the item. I just wouldn't want to see any of my bidders do that. Things are tight enough as it is....we don't need to overbid on ebay!!! And I won't close auctions early. UNLESS I made a mistake in the listing - I did that the other day - somehow had the same item posted twice and I only have 1 of them, so I did have to end an auction in order to make that one go away!!! I used to sell all the time, but haven't done anything in about 5 years, so I hope you will give me a week or so to get back into the swing of things! It's time that we downsize and get rid of stuff - especially stuff that's just sitting in boxes in the basement and out in the garage. No use to us, so we might as well list it and get it out of here! I also used to be a trading assistant and might offer that again in 2009 - but not until I get our stuff all listed an out of here! I think I have Auctiva all figured out now, but just in case you have a question, I will ship anywhere in the world....at whatever rate you can find that's cheapest or what I find thru USPS.com. And I don't charge handling fees - I sometimes make mistakes on weight, and I usually try to get that corrected. OK, hope all that helps a little! Enjoy your bidding!!!
  • 4 Moore Girls more Moore stuff!!!

    7:01 PM PST, 12/1/2008

This is my "welcome" blog for ebay - just tell you a little about my life as an artist...and as one of 4 Moore Girls. As a member of Spellbinders 2005 Design Team, I think I own just about every die they ever created! Over 300 of them and more than 20 fonts! It's time to downsize! So lucky you!!! Some of these dies have only been used a few times, others have been used in classes that I teach. I've done tons of designs with them and 145 of my projects have been published in magazines. That doesn't begin to count the catalog and ads I've designed for. Every single die (and the machines I'm selling) have been tested and they all work just fine. It's time for me to downsize - so I can expand again! LOL! You may have seen my work at CHA, in Stampington publications, Scrapbooking & Beyond, and my latest work is in Fired Arts & Crafts! Yes, I'm moving more towards jewelry making and working with glas and kilns. Hubby says I'm determined to burn down the house!!! And as a member of the 2007 Ranger design team....expect to see inks, ink pads, and more coming to my ebay listings soon! I've been asked if I'm ever going to sell some of the art that I have created and the answer is YES!!! My goal is to list at least 10 things a day between now and the middle of the month....just so you have a chance to buy before the holidays! So enjoy watching what I list for sale. Hope you will check back often and bid - oh, yes, bid and buy all my stuff. You know, once my sisters find out I'm back selling on ebay, I imagine they will start bringing more Moore stuff over here for me to sell! You can check out our story at www.4mooregirls.com It's sort of fun having a maiden name of "Moore". Gives me a reason to have more stuff! LOL!!! Hope you have a great day! Jen
