  • New Betty Boop Figures

    Over the past few months we have added some brand new Betty Boop figures to our website. Released for 2010 & featuring some great new designs these figurines make our collection even larger!

    Some of the new models include Betty Supergirl. Showing Betty as Supergirl with a bright red cape! Standing 12″ tall this is a great new addition to the Betty range. There is also Betty Flowerpower. Inspired by the Summer of Love in 1967 this figurine shows Betty in red flares. Another very popular figurine is Betty Geisha. Showing Betty as a Japanese Geisha we have this in 2 different designs. One of Betty standing up & one kneeling down. Finally we have added Betty Weight Watcher. This captures Betty in a pink towel standing on a set of scales.

    Remember this is just a small sample of some of the new figures. There are many many more on our website!

  • Winnie the Pooh Collection

    Our Winnie the Pooh collection consists of all the main characters that you would expect to find here. Obviously including Winnie the Pooh himself, Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet & Roo.

    Most of the items in this collection are small figurines but there are also 2 larger figures available. One of the most popular products in the Winnie the Pooh catalogue is the Winnie & Tigger Bookends which are currently available on our website. Another favourite is the Winnie & Friends in Cart Figurine – which also includes Tigger & Piglet.

     

  • Football Gifts

    We have just added some fantastic new football gifts to our gift’s for him section. Although we know women love football too but we felt that this was the appropriate category.

    Items include some great club cufflinks. Showing the respective teams colours & logo on each cufflink they come with a trendy presentation case. They are official merchandise from the football club & would be ideal for anyone working in an office who wears double cuffed shirts. At the moment the cufflinks we stock are Manchester Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, West Ham Utd & Tottenham Hotspurs but we will be adding to these over the coming weeks.

    We have also added some football drinks coasters decorated with the teams logo. Teams included are the same as above but again we will be adding more shortly. The coasters come in a set of 4 & have the clubs logo engraved into the glass. A perfect companion for when sitting back & watching the match.   • Mr Bean - Who is He?

    Mr Bean is a British comedy television series of 14 half-hour episodes starring Rowan Atkinson as the title character. Different episodes were written by Rowan Atkinson, Robin Driscoll, Richard Curtis and one by Ben Elton.

    The first episode was broadcast on ITV on 1 January 1990, with the final episode, Hair by Mr. Bean of London on 15 November 1995. Based on a character developed by Rowan Atkinson at university, the series followed the exploits of Mr. Bean, described by Atkinson as “a child in a grown man’s body”, in solving various problems presented by everyday tasks and often causingdisruption in the process.

    During its five year run the series gained large UK audience figures, including 18.74 million for the 1992 episode “The Trouble With Mr. Bean”. The series has been the recipient of a number of international awards, including the Rose d’Or.   • Walt Disney Figures, Figurines & Statues

    Our Walt Disney collection is one our biggest & unsurprisingly one of our most popular. Some of the biggest & famous cartoon characters have come from Walt Disney including Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck & Minnie Mouse. Not forgetting some of the less known characters like Goofy, Pluto & Daisy.

    Our smallest figurine in this collection is the Tinker Bell Jewellery Box which starts at 6 inches tall. Our largest figure is the Goofy Waiter standing at 51.50 inches tall.

    All our figures & figurines in this Disney range are individually cast using a mix of resin and marble dust and then individually hand painted in great detail by highly skilled craftsmen.

  • Who is Betty Boop?

    Betty Boop is an animated cartoon character designed by Grim Natwick, appearing in the Talkartoon and Betty Boop series of films produced by Max Fleischer and released by Paramount Pictures.

    With her overt sexual appeal, Betty was a hit with filmgoers, and despite having been toned down in the mid-1930s, she remains very popular today. She has been featured in two different comic strips, one in the 1930s and another in the 1980s.
