  • Dreadnaught Factor by Activision: Tips Tricks Hints and Strategies

The minimum score required in Dreadnaught Factor by Activision to earn an Activision patch was: beat the entire game at level 4. The best advice in Dreadnaught Factor by Activision is to read the manual so that you know all of the nuances of the game. The manual gives some really good tips. Dreadnaught Factor by Activision was released for the Atari 5200, Atari 8-Bit computers, and Mattel Intellivision. Dreadnaught Factor by Activision is a side scrolling shooter game where your ship bombards the opposing dreadnaught ships. Each new dreadnaught at the beginning of each cycle is represented on the right side center of the screen by the shape of the particular dreadnaught you will be attacking. Dreadnaughts have turrets and cannons that shoot at you while you are flying over them, so it is a good suggestion to get accustomed to using the awkward Intellivision controller for accuracy. Flying straight forward into the dreadnaught is not the best plan of attack. Try more of an "up and down waving" flight pattern. This will allow you to do more damage to the dreadnaught without taking a direct hit to your own ship. There are certain items on the dreadnaught that factor in to how the dreadnaught will attack you. When you destroy these items they will have an effect on the dreadnaught's forward speed and how it fires its weapons back at you. These observations and deployments are critical in succeeding in this game. There are several classes of dreadnaughts, so it's a good idea to plan your attack depending on which class you are about to face. Flying over the Dreadnaught quickly by "pressing the disc to the right" is not always the best idea in this game. Flying slowly by "pressing the disc to the left" to be more precise will gain you more accuracy and greater damage to the dreadnaught. You can drop bombs "by pressing the lower side buttons" on these targets or use straight forward laser missiles "by pressing the upper side buttons". Getting used to the controller is of the greatest importance. You get several passes to destroy the dreadnaught, and the targets that you've already hit will remain destroyed until you defeat the dreadnaught. But with each new pass if not destroyed, the dreadnaught will get closer and closer to your stargate, the giant "X" on the center of the starting screen. If the dreadnaught reaches this "X", you and your planet will be destroyed. The game skill level is shown depending on the color of the stargate "X". Gray is the easiest level and purple is the most difficult. There are also seven levels of difficulty to challenge you for hours. On the most difficult level there are 100 dreadnaughts in total to destroy. Once you have defeated the dreadnaught, it is replaced with another depending on which level you chose. As the game progresses, so does the difficulty of the dreadnaughts as they fire back at you. Best of luck in this adventure. The minimum score required in Dragster by Activision to earn an Activision patch was: get below 6 seconds in the video quarter mile. Make sure both difficulty switches are set to B. The best advice in Dragster by Activision is to read the manual so that you know all of the nuances of the game. The manual gives some really good tips on this game. Begin with the clutch engaged. When the timer reaches 1, press on the button and release the clutch as the timer reaches zero. Shift immediately to second gear without letting off of the button. Shift to third gear pretty quickly, never releasing the button and then into fourth gear never releasing the button. Keep holding down the button and give about 4 quick crisp taps of the joystick to the left to pop a small short wheelie with each tap. Leave about a half second between each tap to give the Dragster time to settle down between wheelies, otherwise it is technically spinning wheels out of control. This will raise your tachometer to maximum. Be ready to release the button and engage the clutch just before the engine is blown near the end. • Dolphin by Activision: Tips Tricks Hints and Strategies

The minimum score required in Dolphin by Activision to earn an Activision patch was: 80,000 points for the Friends of Dolphins or 299,990 points for the Secret Society of the Dolphins. Make sure both difficulty switches are set to B. The best advice in Dolphin by Activision is to read the manual so that you know all of the nuances of the game. The manual gives some really good tips on this game. The real secret in this game is to listen to the number of beeps and get the rhythm to jump over the seahorses, rather than try to go through the gaps in between the sea horses. The number of beeps changes at different points during the game as the difficulty level increase, so be ready to adjust to the changes. A secret Easter egg is if you play on 2 player and get 299,990 with player one, player 2 will be resurrected with 99 extra lives. Get 299,990 with player 2. The game will continue with player one again and get super difficult! See if you can achieve a 3rd score of 299,990.That would be known as the elusive "Triple Amazing". Even I haven't done that done yet. Let me know if you do!
