MAKE WAY! MAKE WAY! Here they come! My first bulk of finished and dispatched custom orders in all their splendor!! I must say that I am indeed very pleased with these yarns, especially the "Scottish Sunset" Bluefaced Leicester yarn design, which took a good deal of careful dyeing and calculating during the spinning process. The photos may not show all the shades clearly, it is such a pain to shoot good pictures of items that have reds and pinks in them...SIGH...but I think the yarns come out fine, here they are:

aren't they just gorgeous.....:o) There are 2 double knit skeins for a long scarf and 1 sport weight skein for a pair of gloves. I would SO love to see the finished knitwear!!!

Next is a handpainted lot of cosy lambswool yarn "A Winter's Tale",  8 skeins, with shades that I copied from the photo below, which was sent to me by the lady who had ordered this design:

Next is another lambswool design, "Coral Beach", painted with powder pink, coral pink with and undyed white to represent the sand, just as it was requested. Here it is:

I like these pink shades very much, I am glad I didn't overdo them by adding too much dye. I also had a photo for this design but I cannot find it right now, it was a picture of a  gorgeous seashell necklace with lots and lots of pink in it. If I find it I will add it to the blog later :o)

Next comes a handpainted Bluefaced Leicester roving which I finished for a very lovely lady in the UK:

I also had a photo of handpainted silk available for this lot, the customer sent me the link to the picture so I would have an idea of which shades she was after. Unfortunately I cannot display the photo of the silk because it is under copyright. Sorry. I will see if I can find the link to it.

And because I have been able to meet all my deadlines (...so far...) and had some spare time for the past few days, I sat down and finished 2 BFL yarns for my own store. They are both displayed in my Etsy shop at www.alltheprettyfibers.etsy.com :

Irish Rose II

"Amber"

Still, I am not done with handspinning and painting yet. I will start on a new custom order of handspun white baby camel down/silk sport weight yarn, and a sport weight elfyarn design, which I will try to finish during the month of December. There is so much going on at the moment, and I am receiving tons of requests that I had to stretch out my deadline for the elfyarn. But...once it's done I will display it on my blog too... ;o)

In case you are wondering where the photo of the handspun black Alpaca yarns is that I mentioned  further back on my blog...I dispatched the yarns last week without having taken a single picture...YEP...me...getting old...sorry about that, folks.

Everyone have a very good week and HAPPY FIBRE CRAFTING!!!
