  • Getting back to Ebay!

    1:42 PM PST, 9/8/2015

I made my first sale since being back - - yesterday! So today I made a replacement posting. I want to have at least 100 items for sale, and then I MIGHT get a store. I hear with an Ebay store, it can be good, because then you can get the word out better. But for me, it would be worth it later. I also have a Best Books and Collectibles Page here: http://www.thebestbooksandcollectibles.com/ And that is where all my selling sites are listed. I also have a personal and business site here: http://www.betsyanne.com/ AND a Nontraditional Student website, for older students going back to school after a break. It is here: http://www.nontradstudents.com/ So... thanks for stopping by! Make sure to come back again. -Willowtreemoon :-)
  • Sarah - Dutchess of York audiobook

    12:13 PM PST, 3/5/2012

This fun cassette audiobook is about Sarah, the Dutchess of York, and explains her point of view about all the scandals that happened to her in the past. She also tells about the English Royal Family and how things are done there. There are many surprises in this one! I listened to this one myself and really liked it. I am paring down my things this Spring and Summer and hope to have many other cassette tapebooks, book, magazines, and collectibles for sale on Ebay soon. Thanks for reading my Auctiva blog about my Ebay listing today. Later! Willowtreemoon on Ebay
  • My Auctiva blog and Squidoo

    3:03 PM PST, 1/1/2011

  • Getting back to Ebay!

    4:57 PM PST, 8/23/2009

I posted two items to Ebay today. I also checked out Auctiva - they have only PAY services now. But I do like the site, so I signed up for 15 items a month on their service. I guess they had it for free for too long! I don't blame them. I probably would have done the same thing. Onwards and Upwards!
  • My books and collectibles - March #2 blog

    11:48 AM PST, 3/11/2008

I have been very busy putting my auctions on every day. I have been using Auctiva and choosing different templates each time. I like these templates. I am using a new Gothic style one this month on my Rue Morgue magazine listing. It matches perfectly! This month (March 08) I am discovering different areas on Ebay, like Guides. I am reading different guides on the Ebay site to find out how to list better. Here are the things I have on here as of today, which is Monday, March 11th: 1. Rue Morgue Magazine #46, June 05 (7 more days) 2. Rebel Road/Quantrell's Raiders F. Gruber ACE double bk - eB (ends today - March 11) 3. The Far Pavilions by M.M. Kaye - one volume, 1978 (This is the hard to find book version) This one ends March 13. (Wednesday). 4. The Godfather Collection (1992, VHS) This is all of the Godfather movies in one set. Ends today, 3-11. 5. Together in Eclipse Bay by Jayne Ann Krentz 3 bks in 1. This is a set about Eclipse Bay, which follows different families in the community. I haven't read these, but they look good. Ends March 14 (Thursday). This book is for people who enter horse handicapping contests. 6. The Joy Luck Club cassette Audio book read by Amy Tan, the author - ends March 17, Sunday. I am putting at least one thing online each day, unless I have something else going on. I'm thinking of putting another playing card grouping on soon, plus some small charms and plastic toys.
  • My product blog #1 for March

    7:04 PM PST, 3/4/2008

March will be an exciting month. I am putting some products online this month and offering them worldwide. This is a step I've been thinking about for awhile. I can't wait to see what bidders and lookers I get. I have been listening to some good podcasts lately. One said that she sells on Ebay and sells internationally. It isn't really hard to do, she said, but it does take some more effort and work. So... I'm excited about this month. I have put The Godfather VHS set on so far, and also an older paperback book that is an Ace Double. I also have a wonderful History book that I got from my old job as a graphic artist. I can't wait to put on some more card groupings (playing cards) and also some more books and games.
  • Coming back here again...

    5:12 PM PST, 10/28/2007

Well, I left here to find out about another service that is giving a FREE tryout period for Ebay listers. It is the (Andale) Vendio service. First off, I am just starting out, and don't have huge amounts of things listed yet. I was thinking of getting an Ebay store, then noticed that Vendio (like here) also had a store included in their service. One thing I noticed was that Auctiva's way of keeping saved information for listings was much better. I didn't actually list with Vendio, but noticed that Auctiva's interface was easier for me personally to figure out. There seems to be a pretty big learning curve with Vendio, but I did like their gallery, which looked a LOT like Auctiva's. I just couldn't bring myself to pay the fees, though, when I found out that I would need to move up one selling level to get custom mailings and account tracking. I'm not ready for that yet. I decided to come back here - - and almost got really upset - - I noticed that some of the things I had filled out before were empty. Oh no! Did this mean I'd lost all my work?? But then I went to the templates area and I found out that all the pre-filled selling item information was still there. I breathed a HUGE sigh of relief. Thanks, Auctiva! And I don't plan to move again until I really learn the site first AND really need an extra boost. I went with Ebay Stores instead to see if things pick up for the holidays.
  • My store after 2 days...

    4:42 PM PST, 10/18/2007

Well. I have put items on for sale THROUGH AUCTIVA now for two days. I can tell a big difference in speed using the handy templates they have. Now I think I will put my store on my web pages, because the Auctiva Store looks a lot better than my Ebay Store. I might even get an Ebay Store before Christmas to see if that helps my sales.
  • My First Day with Auctiva!

    11:25 AM PST, 10/16/2007

Today I posted my first item with Auctiva. I'd tried it before... but today I went through the process again, filling in all the forms, etc. It took a couple of hours, but then I was so happy to be done. Yay! I put a Verbal Advantage tapebook on. I have a bunch of tapebooks that I will be listing soon there. So far, the only question I have is what the Auctiva Insurance is. I put it on (for people to choose if they want) since there is not a choice for U.S. Postal Insurance. I am thinking it is the same thing, but may look on the Auctiva site to make sure. I am so excited! The auction looks nice. The only thing I would possibly change is the width. Maybe there is another book template I can use that is less wide. I doubt it though. I do like the book picture there, though.
