She continued to win that title for the next 10 years! Each title was achieved with the same horse: Scamper. Who hasn't heard of Scamper? what a legend! Charmayne became a member of the Womens Professional Rodeo Association in 1984, when she was awarded Rookie of the Year honors. She earned National Finals Rodeo qualifications for 19 consecutive year. She was National Finals Rodeo (NFR) Average Champion seven times, and was inducted in the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame in Fort Worth, Texas in 1992. The legend of Charmayne continues as Charmayne and Cruiser won the 2002 WPRA World Championship along with Charmayne winning her 11th WPRA World Title.
