This was a little expensive to make & you can wear it proudly with assurance that it will not fall apart! My lanyards are crimped 4 times for added security and the unsightly crimps are covered.A crimp cover is a split bead that I fold down around the crimp and pinch it together, leaving a barely noticeable but unavoidable seam. This is not a broken or cheap bead. They are either gold plated or silver plated, depending on the metal used in your piece. ~~~ My lanyards are strung on heavy duty, thick yet flexible 29 strand cable wire that is coated so it will not rust, break or snag your clothing! It won't break but if it does, but it won't, you are covered with KATHY'S EXTENDED KINDNESS WARRANTY! Don't fret, my items don't break. A crimp bead cover is a split bead that folds down and around the crimp. It does leave an unavoidable seam that is barely noticeable. I mention this because after a time consuming struggle a fellow beading ebayer has lost her store because one buyer thought this crimp cover was a broken or plastic bead and left a Negative before even asking the seller about it!
