Based in Oxford we benefit from Oxford’s superb research facilities, with over fifty libraries within a mile, allowing us to compare individual books with multiple original copies as a primary source, rather than relying on bibliographies. The Bodleian Library also allows us access to databases such as WorldCat and Early English Books Online for the few works not held by the university.
We are members of the PBFA which has a strict code of conduct which guarantees quality, accuracy and a professional level of service.

Specialties:
We have small but select stock of rare and antiquarian books, drawn from all subjects areas, but with particular strengths in early printed books, Bibles, natural philosophy, early science, modern first editions (especially J. K. Rowling and Tolkien) and literature.
Places to Find Us:
We do not have shop premises but can see clients by appointment. For customers driving to Oxford we can give a temporary resident’s permit on arrival allowing them to park outside in the designated bays. Our stock is listed at our e-bay shop available via this website.

Shipping:
We use the Royal Mail and Parcelforce to send items worldwide and all shipping charges include insurance. We pride ourselves on packing all items well, and our postage charges are slightly under cost, so we try to keep postage to a minimum.
Policies:
We can offer a full refund for good returned with 14 days of receipt, if returned in the condition in which they were sent.
