Frequently Asked Question:

Now that I have subscribers, how do I send my Auctiva Custom Newsletter to them?

Once you have subscribers opted in (from the email invite you sent), you can create a newsletter that will showcase up to 13 of your eBay items, along with your own custom message, text color and logo.

Go to the Auctiva Custom Newsletter landing page and click the "Create/Send Newsletter" link.

  1. Add your logo (or upload one) by clicking in the box labeled "Store Logo."
  2. Add a title to your newsletter by clicking the text box that says "Sample Newsletter Title."
  3. Add a message below your logo by clicking in the provided text box.
  4. Select a color for the text in your newsletter by using the color selector tool and clicking "Okay" to save the color.
  5. Create a custom message for your sample newsletter by clicking the "Step 2" tab on and using the text box to enter your message.
  6. Select a product to feature by clicking in the box to the right of the message box. A window will open with a selection of your current eBay listings, and you will choose one by checking the box next to its item number and clicking the "Apply" button at the top of the window.
  7. Select additional products to highlight in your newsletter (up to 12) by clicking the "Step 3" tab and using the provided "Select Product" boxes.
  8. The last step will show you a preview of your newsletter, and you can give it a unique name for later reference.
  9. If you are happy with the newsletter, you can then click the "Send Test" button to have a copy of your newsletter sent to yourself, or click "Send" to send it to your subscribers.
  10. A confirmation box will appear with the number of newsletters that are about to be sent on your behalf. As a precaution, you will need to confirm the send before they will be e-mailed.
  11. Go to your Newsletter History page to see what newsletters have been sent, and to how many subscribers.
