I was lucky enough to find these colorful prints framed and matted and am happy to be able to offer them to someone who will display and treasure them. They will be a stunning wall feature anywhere in your home. For example on a accent wall or above a chair rail in a dining area.
Each print is depicting a different bird. Each piece measures ca. 14x10.75 inches. Each lithograph is covered with protective glass and is titled Swedish American Line. This treasure is in wonderful condition.
You can call this an absolutely stunning study in Ornithology and an instant dramatic focal point when hung as a group. I am sure you will share these with your friends.
Following is a litte info on the Swedish American Line
The Swedish American Line was formed in 1914 to run passenger and cargo services between Gothenburg and New York. It was greatly assisted by Sweden's neutrality during the First World War when Germany's shipping services ceased. Services continued, but gradually decreased in the 1960's due to the rise in air travel. By 1970 the company concentrated mostly on cruising and in 1975 their last two ships were sold and Swedish America Line disappeared as passenger ship operators.
