It is made of a combination of Walnut and Burl Walnut. It has a rich, Medium Walnut Patina. The Chest of Drawers has a Scalloping Gallery along the back. The top is made of Walnut which flows from the back tward the front to flow over the front edge of the Chest of Drawers. It is a gorgeous design! The Chest of Drawers is made in a beautiful Graduating Drawer Design with the top Drawer being the smallest flowing downward into increasingly larger Drawers. This is an indication of a fine cabinet maker. There are Four Graduating Drawers. They are made with a splendid pattern of Burl Walnut. Drawing them open reveals their intricate Dove Tail Joints. Between the Top and Second Drawers is a Repeating Band of Carved Flowers. It is very beautiful! The most unique aspect of the design of this piece is the Recessed Drawer Pulls. They are carved into the center of each Drawer. Roundells embellish them at each end. The Chest of Drawers is raised upon scalloping, multi-tiered, Bracket Feet. The Apron flowing between the Legs also scallops. This is a very fine, American Water Fall Chest of Drawers. It will be an elegant additon to your Master Bedroom.
