How does this amazing filtration system work?

Mechanical Filtration- First your water goes through a course sponge to remove any floating dirt and debris. Which means it's your filter constantly working to keep your tank clean, not you!

Biological Filtration- The sponge is also the perfect home for good bacteria which are vital to the health of your fish. This bacteria creates a miniature eco system inside your aquarium by feeding on the waste products your fish produce which means your water stays cleaner for longer and thanks to your microscopic friends you don't have to do all the work!

Chemical Filtration- Inside this filter is also activated carbon, which means no more odor, discoloration or impurities, just crystal clear water.

Your Jetstar can be used in a few different ways to aerate your water providing oxygen for your fish, vital for their health and wellbeing. This can be acieved using the included spray bar to break the surface of the water and spread the flow of clean water evenly through out your tank. This will give you a more gentle current (slower more gentle fish don't have any difficulty swimming against it). Alternatively you can attach the included nozzle with the air line attachment to create a good strong stream of clean water and air bubbles. (a lot of fish love strong currents to swim against). This means that no matter what type of fish you keep there will be an attachment included that's right for your tank and you can get it set up and working within minutes of unpacking it!
