hey everyone...i'm very~very close to plantin' my punkin's :P...all i can say: blisters~blisters~blisters...did i mention blisters?...my hands have several blisters on them and i can't hardly move but, i'm havin' a blast!!!...just me, my hands, and my shovel...i cleared way for my little punkin' patch...when the sun goes down today i'm gonna turn the dirt, add the manure~compost and then my little punkin's...i'm so excited i can't hardly wait...i hope y'all enjoy the pictures as much as i've enjoyed doin' the work...crystal...as before keep prayin' fer me and i'll keep the info and the pix comin' :)

this is johnny 2 look close it's hard to see him...in the middle is sissy...she's a hot mess...on the end is daisy mae...we rescued her from a family after their baby girl pulled on her leg and broke it...she's been with us a few years now...she's 14 goin' on 15...i sometimes call her o'mama :P

i'm movin' right along...slow but sure...i can only work a couple hrs in the mornin' and a couple in the evenin'...i burn REAL easy and i can't hardly take the sun...i'm gonna make some farmer, ain't i ;) 

i can't believe someone forgot to tell me about all the roots and rocks i'd not only find but, have to deal with...what's up with that?

almost ready fer the plantin'...not much more to go...i can honestly say no one had any trouble sleepin' after watchin' ALL my hard work :D
