Is it a Cave or a Studio?

Note to self: blogging does not actually count as "working".... but is a  valid excuse to put it off for a few more minutes.

My cave studio is waiting for me.  I promised that on my weekend, I would get down into it and resign myself to the task of going through and listing all the odds and ends that are hidden in there.  I tend to start projects, and never follow through.  Therefore I have hundreds.. no, wait... THOUSANDS of items down there needed to be put up for sale.  It honestly surprises me the amount of goodies hidden away.  I found an Elizabeth Swann POTC dress (the gold one), a mens Bavarian styled shirt, a tan doublet, and a whole Halloween pirate ensemble.  The problem is that I hold on to things to list for Halloween costumes, knowing it is my busiest time of year to be in the costume business.  Then summer comes...  and it wants to BBQ, and camp, and swim with the dogs, and run around like a wild thing.  Who wants to work in that??  It would be sacriligous at best.  Even though the downstairs is nice and invitingly cool, I still can't seem to focus on working.  Keep in mind I also have a full time job outside of my home, which makes the weekends even more sacred.

So with the best of intentions, I sit here trying to get my head into the game but find myself googling campfire recipes and perfect camp spots.  Oh well, at least I can take my beads along to look like I'm putting in a good effort.

At this rate I should be done in time for Halloween next year, unless I learn to make better use of the cold Canadian winters.
