Oh My!

Who knew I was so clever?  I did!  I am MaidenShade -- that's right, I AM made in the shade -- or I'm the maid who made the shade... hmmm.

Anyhow, I've got seven new shades ready to photograph and put up for sale.  Really lovely ones too.  Please read about them below:

  • Just in time for the latest fascination with ballroom comes a large, regal shade called “Elegance” featuring glamorous men and ladies, dancing under the stars with a luxury liner poised out on the ocean behind them.  It is bejeweled with Swarovski crystals, trimmed out in jet-black beaded eyelash and just glorious.

  • You must look at this precious mini from the A Look Back line called “Verse” with the palest of pink, golden tan, and green that has calla lilies and tropical leaves tossed on a creamy background and embellished with such a darling, delicate pink and cream trim.  To complete this shade I've kissed the corners and lengths with sweet ribbon roses.

  • A medium shade from the A Look Back line called “Revolution” using In Crowd fabric by Alexander Henry, which features famous faces done in a pop art style design.  Who can you recognize?  I spotted Twiggy!  This fabric is very reminiscent of the work by 1960’s pop art designer Andy Warhol.  Accented on two sides by white on white material that has a scattered star pattern and set off with far-out black gimp and beaded eyelash, this fab and mod lampshade will appeal to the baby-boomer in your life.

  • You can almost see her slaves fanning her with these fabulous, gilded peacock feathers – it’s “Cleopatra” a medium shade from Her Majesty’s line.  A lovely, understated shade with jewel-tones and rich, brown-hued fancy braided gimp and beaded eyelash this is one of my favorites!

  • Two more mini shades for your consideration are “Flora” from the Three Godmothers line and “Treasures” from Her Majesty.  This tiny shade reminds us that fall is just around the corner.  Lovely bronzes, golden browns, a touch of autumnal burgundy, and greens make up Flora’s fabric.  Gilded leaves and grapes are tossed on a black background, edged in a coppery gimp, and finished off with copper and brown beaded eyelash.  Treasures is a yummy Mum-ie print!  Large gilded ginger jars and Mums are tossed with intricate designs – plums, creams, and greens mix with gold and shades of brown.  Surrounded by plum beaded eyelash, this shade is just smashing!

  • Now how can I resist Ms. Princess?  I can’t, so I use her again and again.  This shade is cone-shaped (3x6x7.5 inches), its unique look screams “LITTLE GIRL’S ROOM”.  Coy Chihuahua’s are dressed in jackets, dresses, shirts, or nestled in a teacup wearing only a bow.  So many colors, it’s sure to go with her décor – pinks, purples, browns, creams – even orange, lime green, and black!  Does your princess love pink and purple and dressed up puppies?  Then please get her Ch’ Wow Wow.  It is adorable!
