I found and purchased this Hugo Brehme photograph. It is such a fun old picture...with a great carved frame. How little did I know when I bought the old photograph that it was signed by a famous artist... LET ALONE that Grandma had seen this one as a postcard. Hugo Brehme's postcards are highly collectible. CAN YOU IMAGINE OWNING THE ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH FOR ONE HIS MORE FAMOUS POSTCARDS? I decided to sell it. It has lots of people watching the auction...if eBay's counters are correct. I've a feeling that this one is going to be sniped. I just hope whomever wins the picture enjoys it as much if not more than I have. You just never know what the picture or photo on your wall is worth! I've had estimates of 1700 or more. Maybe it will go for enough for Christmas gifts for our four kids and pay bills. Sad though when you start selling your favorite pics...but hey, at least, I can sell something. Unemployment here is the highest in Illinois. I will give thanks for whatever we can get for this favorite photograph.
