He was taught his craft by his mother the late and noted potter Mary Frances Herrera. He is the brother of Dorothy Herrera, Mary Ramona Herrera and the uncle of Johnna Herrera. He specializes in wildlife figures, Nativities, bear sculptures, Storytellers and pottery bowls. He has been hard at work since the early 1980's. Edwin likes to create his pottery in the old Cochiti Pueblo designs. Description: What an adorable and precious piece this is. Mama bear is giving her little cub sitting on her back a pony ride.
