Item: Hand Coiled & Hand Painted Melon Kiva Pot by Pauline Romero. Pueblo: Jemez Artist Info: Pauline Romero was born in the Jemez Pueblo on 9/25/1962. She was taught her craft by her mother Persingular R. Tosa. She specializes in traditional redware, tanware, polished vases, melon jars, Wedding Vases and sgrafitto. She has won numerous awards. Her favorite designs are melons, Kiva Steps, feather in a row and swirls. Pauline has been hard at work since 1981 years. Measurements: 5 inches tall, 3 1/2 inches wide, with a 2 1/2 inch opening.
