Mrs Cranston's Tearooms are world famous. Partly for their marvellous food; but also because of their association with Charles Rennie MacKintosh. They were designed as a collaberation between CRM and Mrs C with no detail too small. Much of the detail was filled with hidden meaning. For example the name "Willow Tearoom" was very appropriate because the road it is located on Sauchiehall Street is old Scots for Willow Avenue. Take the beautiful tableware, another variation on the willow pattern.
