How do we afford the best in the worst economic times. Its easy. Buy the best, but buy it used. It's an investment. If you were to by an Ethan Allen piece today for $300, it will most likely hold or gain value in a few years. Assuming you keep it in good condition. There are not many things in life that you can buy use and then get your money back. Even real estate has proven this to be true. Look at recent history.
