The Gibson Classic has been given a conjure treatment: swamp ash body for lighter weight, ebony fingerboard with red pearl voodoo skull at the 5th fret, 496R and 500T pickups, and black hardware. The finish is especially distinctive. The guitar is painted ebony, then rubbed with a red filler that catches in the grooves of the ash woodgrain, and finally sealed with a satin-lacquer finish coat. Additionally there are two "dings" that I found on the body (close up pics attached, please click on the pic to see them supersized and up close.) Finally there are a couple spots on the case that have some damaged areas. The case looks really great otherwise! All latches are intact and working well.
