Very stylish period piece with super sleek vintage screw on glass shades plus sharp atomic lacquered black wood and brass styling details. The pole is decorated with a large DNA inspired sculptural brass swirl that snakes around the pole, lower base has a swoopy 3 pronged modernist ebony black wood detail. This pole lamp also has a table built in - round and solid marble. This lamp looks & works great - it is over 50 years old, and does have some typical vintage wear, the lamp fittings are a little loose in spots, and could use a tightening, there is patina on the brass, some typical use & age related minor scratches & wear with some small pitted spots here and there - cosmetic only & nothing that impacts the structural soundness or functionality of this piece - it could benefit from additional clean-up and polishing, but overall this lamp displays nicely. In good vintage condition, works well & looks amazing as-is, a little extra clean-up would make it even nicer - or refinish/paint/re-wire to customize & make it even more spectacular.
