P-38 Airplane Lucite Sterling Pendant Army Air Force WWII Star Sweetheart Heart

I have never seen a pendant quite like this one for the Air Force P-38.
I would imagine that it is from the 1940's during World War 2.
It is made of a cleat plastic that looks like Lucite. The airplane is marked Sterling and is a P-38.
There is a loop on top to hang on a necklace.
