To identify an Eyeglass frame you need to find items listed on the eyeglass frame. * Designer Name * Frame Name or Number * Frame Color * Frame Size Examples of DESIGNER eyeglass collections would be Bebe, Nicole Miller, Eddie Bauer, Casino, Laura Ashley, Guess and Elizabeth Arden are just a few. FRAME NAME may be a name or a number. Colors may be listed as a number (co1) or a name (oyster, caviar, night, black, brown, gold) Look for the FRAME EYESIZE on the inside of each temple. Sizes may also be stamped on the inside of the bridge, or embedded into the nose piece of a plastic frame. Sizes include the “eye size”, which is the width of each lens in millimeters, and the bridge size, or distance between lenses. This number will appear as 52-15 or 47-21. The first number indicates the width of one lens and the second number indicates the distance between lenses or bridge size. Often times a small box may appear between the lens width and the bridge width. A number for temple length will also be indicated on your eyeglass frame. This number represents the length of each temple in millimeters such as 135 or 145.
