For collectors trying to assemble a representative type set in moderate to high grade this type has always proved the stopper, not only for the price but even more so for its scarcity.
In 1923 the $10 United States Note was redesigned with a portrait of Andrew Jackson. This was the last large size Ten Dollar note issued prior to the introduction of small size. This type is nicknamed "POKER CHIP" due to the reverse having two circular designs with the number 10 in the center that very much resemble a poker chip.
