VERY RARE ANTIQUE JAPANESE CELEDON LIDDED JAR This auction is for a beautiful antique Japanese celadon green porcelain lidded jar with raised floral decorations. As you can see from the photos the painted decorations are very vivid and beautiful. It has been said that these type of Japanese Celadon lidded jars are more rare than Japanese Celadon Jardinieres and Vases. This Celadon lidded jar is unmarked which is found to be common with this type of Japanese porcelain. The jar is probably late 19th century or early 20th century Meiji Period.
