Alf. M. Landon 1936 Campaign Banner

Alfred "Alf" M. Landon Sept 9, 1887-Oct 12, 1987 was a Republican, who served as Governor of Kansas   from 1933 to 1937. from 1933 to 1937. He was best known as the Republican Presidential Nominee who was  defeated in a landslide by Franklin D. Roosevelt in the 1936 presidential election.

This banner was used in his unsuccessful campaign.  It measures 100"x36".  It is made of cotton and has 2" gold fringe along the bottom.  In the center is a 36"x36" screened picture of Alf Landon on a blue background on each side is a panel of stripes and a panel  of stars.

It is in excellent shape  with no rips, tears or split seams.
