This baby rattle is marked Made in Occupied Japan

It measures 8" long, including the ring on the bottom.

The top rounded portion of the rattle is plastic, which I believe may be celluloid.

The handle looks like it could be wood/pressed wood, with a blue covering over it.

The rattler is a chime, that reminds me of the chime in the roly poly toys.

This rattle is in very good condition. No chips, cracks, or hairlines. There are two small pin spots on the top of the rattle, not holes, but tiny burrs.(see pic) The ring on the bottom has a little damage.(see pic)

I have not seen another rattle like this one!!!
