Starbucks had a busy day yesterday! Did you know that some guinea pigs can chirp like a bird? Its true! Its rare, not all of them do it. I found out yesterday that Starbucks is a chirper. He chirped for over two hours. Guinea pigs use this sound as a form of communication. It is a sort of alert call to the herd. I tried to figure out what he was alerting the others to, but had no luck. The little one eventually settled down. It was adorable to watch!
