Reverse Paint Painted Lamp

Description: This item is part of several items that I am listing from a living estate. The lady I am selling them for is 94 years old, and has moved into assisted living. This lamp was purchased by my consignors father when she was 8 years old, making this lamp 86 years old. It has a reverse painted shade which looks like a depiction of the ocean with the blue water and the palm trees. The light bulb sockets are turned downward also showing its age.It has the double chains so you can turn on one light or both. I was told the base of the lamp is cast metal, and there are a couple sections of brass. The lamp is electric and looks like is was rewired. I did remove the felt bottom to look for a makers mark, but saw none. I do not see any signature on the lamp or the shade. There is a small hole in the metal base, besides the hole where the cord comes through. The shade is in good condition, with a small nick/flea bite on the rim and a very little bit of roughness. The lamp is in working condition, and several of the pictures shows it lit up. The lamp including the shade measures 18.5" tall to the tip of the finial. The open end of the shade measures 14" wide.
