As robot has great stregth, carries powerful ionic displacer riffle." The Triple Changers were one of Shockwave's more sucessful experiments with altering a Transformers alternate form. The result were the inventions of Astrotrain and Blitzwing, the Decepticon Triple Changers. Astrotrain is the perfect example of a Transformer who can change into different modes which may be larger than his robot form. When changing in there different forms, there may differences in there mass and size. As a Decepticon Military Transport, Astrotrain's alternate modes of space shuttle and train were used to carry Decepticons to and from combat, as potrayed in the cartoon series and mant comic books.
