ANTIQUE ENGLISH VICTORIAN WASH STAND CUPBOARD

Circa: 1880 Dimensions: 42" wide x 20" deep x 53" high Stock Number: E0908-0189 This UNUSUAL WASHSTAND was made in England, circa 1880. We purchased it in Wiltshire, England. The Washstand is made of Mahogany. It has a rich, Deep Mahogany Patina. This is an English Victorian Washstand. It is in very good condition. The Washstand has a Shield Motif with a gorgeous Shield Form Gallery along the rear. At the center is a Shield is a Shaped Beveled Mirror. Opulently carved, Moulding frames this Mirror. A Swan Neck Scrolling Pediment flows upward at each side to frame it. The Pediment is carved with Rosettes. The Gallery has marble at the bottom which creates a water proof back splash. The Moulding framing the marble is beautifully carved. Scalloping Supports connect the back of the Wash Stand to the top. The Top of the Base is also made of Marble. It is a gorgeous Black and Gray Marble with White Veins flowing through it. There are two gorgeous Doors below. Each of these has deeply carved Shield Design at their centers. They are softly formed and resemble hearts. The Doors open to reveal a roomy interior. The Hardware on the doors is all original. This includes the hinges and beautifully formed Scroll Work Back Plates and intricate Pierced Drop Pulls. The Washstand is supported upon tall, Tapering Quadrangular Legs. This is an opulent English Victorian Washstand. It would look spectacular in a powder room or master bedroom. It will create lovely Victorian charm in your design scheme. ANTIQUE SIDEBOARD BUFFET ENGLISH VICTORIAN

Circa: 1890 Dimensions: 40" wide x 17" deep x 41" high Stock Number: E0209-0319 This is a very beautiful, English Victorian Sideboard. We purchased it in the Wiltshire, England. It is made of Oak and has a rich, Deep Oak Patina. It is in very good condition. The Sideboard / Buffet has a charming, English Country Design. There is a Scalloping Gallery along the back. The Base consists of Two Drawers over Two Doors. The Drawers have raised Center Panels. Their gorgeous Turned Oak Knobs are very important to the overall design of the piece. They open to reveal beautifully compartmentalized interiors, with five Compartments in each, for storing silver settings. They are lined with green felt. The Doors also have lovely, Raised Center Panels with Turned Oak Knobs. They open to reveal an extremely functional interior divided into Six Compartments. Your fine china will store here beautifully. The Apron along the bottom of the Sideboard scallops beautifully between the lovely Bracket Feet. ANTIQUE FURNTIURE HALL STAND HALL TREE

Circa: 1910 Dimensions: 23" wide x 16" deep x 76" high Stock Number: E0908-0185 This is an English Art Deco Hall Stand. It is made of Oak and has a rich, Deep Oak Patina. It is good condition. The Hall Stand is sleek and functional. The Cornice bows slightly. It is made in a Sunken Center Panel Design. At the center is a Diamond Shaped Mirror which is quite functional for a final glance before leaving home. Below is a Glove Box. The Lid raises to reveal a small compartment which was meant for a lady to store her gloves. On either side of the Glove Box are Open Compartments for you to store your umbrellas. They have Drip Pans at the bottom. The Bottom Portion of the Hall Stand also has a Sunken Center Panel Design. The Hall Stand has its' Six Original Victorian Hooks. They are finely formed and are placed upon the Supports that frame the piece. The Hall Stand is supported upon Stile Legs. This is a sleek, English Victorian Hall Stand. aNTIQUE WARDROBE ARMOIRE ENGLISH VICTORIAN

Circa: 1920 Dimensions: 42" wide x 18" deep x 78" high Stock Number: E1208-0300 This is a very beautiful, English Victorian Armoire / Hallway Wardrobe. It is made of Satin Walnut with a rich, Medium Walnut Patina. It is in very good condition. It is a Single Door Armoire. The Pediment is deeply moulded and scallops beautifully. The Door has a Cathedral Arch Mirror with beautifully carved, Scrolling Moulding below. Opening the Door reveals an unusual Rotating Hook at the center with Four Hooks scattered around the interior. It is quite narrow and designed to place in a foyer as a Hall Wardrobe for hanging outer wear. The interior is beautifully paneled. There are Two Fixed Panels flanking the Door. These have a beautiful Columned Pilaster Design. They arch at the top and bottom. Below is a Deep Drawer for storing Shoes. The Hardware is all original. This includes the Twisting Drop Pull on the Door and the ornate Back Plate and Bale Handles. The Armoire is supported upon a beautifully moulded Plinth Base. Circa: 1920 Dimensions: 17" wide x 19" deep x 35" high Stock Number: E1208-0310 This is a lovely Set of Four English Art Deco Dining Chairs. We purchased them in Oxford, England. The Chairs are made of Oak and have a rich, deep Oak Patina. They are in good condition. The Chairs have Straight Crest Rails with a Straight Horizontal Rail below. A Wide Central Splat flows between. It is beautifully carved in a Interwoven Guilloche Pattern. Roundels embellish the areas between the links of the carving. The Seats are upholstered in a Gold Damask Fabric. The Fabric has a lovely, swirling Floral and Foliage Pattern embellishing it. The Front Legs of the Chairs are made in Baluster Turned Design. The Back Legs are Quadrangular and taper back elegantly. The Legs are connected by Straight Stretchers. This is a fine Set of Four English Art Deco Dining Chairs. ANTIQUE DRESSER CHEST OF DRAWERS VICTORIAN WATERFALL

Circa: 1930 Dimensions: 32 " wide x 21" deep x 54" high Stock Number: A1208-0298 This is a strikingly lovely, American Art Deco Water Fall Chest of Drawers. It is made of a combination of Walnut and Burl Walnut. It has a rich, Medium Walnut Patina. The Chest of Drawers has a Scalloping Gallery along the back. The top is made of Walnut which flows from the back tward the front to flow over the front edge of the Chest of Drawers. It is a gorgeous design! The Chest of Drawers is made in a beautiful Graduating Drawer Design with the top Drawer being the smallest flowing downward into increasingly larger Drawers. This is an indication of a fine cabinet maker. There are Four Graduating Drawers. They are made with a splendid pattern of Burl Walnut. Drawing them open reveals their intricate Dove Tail Joints. Between the Top and Second Drawers is a Repeating Band of Carved Flowers. It is very beautiful! The most unique aspect of the design of this piece is the Recessed Drawer Pulls. They are carved into the center of each Drawer. Roundells embellish them at each end. The Chest of Drawers is raised upon scalloping, multi-tiered, Bracket Feet. The Apron flowing between the Legs also scallops. This is a very fine, American Water Fall Chest of Drawers. It will be an elegant additon to your Master Bedroom. ANTIQUE SIDEBOARD BUFFET FRENCH COUNTRY

Circa: 1870 Dimensions: 46" wide x 18" deep x 82" high Stock Number: F1208-0299 This INCREDIBLY LOVELY BUFFET/SIDE CABINET was made in FRANCE, circa 1870. We purchased it in the Brittany Region of France, West of Paris. The Buffet is made of Oak. It has a rich, Deep Oak Patina. This is a French Breton Buffet/Side Cabinet. It has a complex design of multiple Display Areas, Drawers and Doors all profusely embellished with Strap Work Carving. It is truly a splendid piece! It is in very good condition. This lovely piece of furniture will create a spectacular impact upon any room that you place it. It's Gothic Design makes it a fine choice for a gentleman's' Formal Study. It could be used as a Library Cabinet. The Display Shelves are perfect for displaying a collection. The Cornice is deeply pronounced and carved with a repeating Pattern of Feathers Work. Below is a gorgeously carved, Central Door. The Door is embellished with a gorgeous Ships Wheel Design carved at the center. Beautiful, Turned Spindles complete the design. A Rosette embellishes the center of the Wheel. Below the Wheel is a beautifully carved, Scenic Cathedral Panel with a Lady in Period Breton Dress spinning wool. In the landscape behind her is a wind mill and gorgeous tree. She sits before a stone wall. Intricate Foliage is carved into the moulding framing the Panel. The Door opens to reveal a roomy interior with Two Shelves cross the center. Your fine china will stored here beautifully. The Door is flanked by a Plate Rail over a Deep Shelf. Each has a Spindle Rail framing it. The Large Back Panels are carved with splendid Rosettes. There is an Open Display Area at the center of the piece. Spindles flow across the top of it. Two Small Drawers flank the Display Area at each side. The Drawers are carved with a Floral Guilloche Pattern. The Drawers open to reveal lovely storage areas. Gorgeous Rosette Banding is carved along all of the Stiles between the Display Area, Doors and Drawers. There are profusely carved, Double Doors below. They are works of art! Each has a life-like scene carved into them. A Gentleman in period dress is on the Right Door while a Lady is at the center of the Left. The Gentleman leans upon a shovel while the Lady clutches her basket. Each poses in front of a stone wall with a Scenic Brittany Landscape behind. The carvings are incredibly lovely. Foliage Banding frames the Doors. There is a Long Display Area at the bottom of the piece. The Apron is beautifully pronounced and moulded. The piece is supported upon charming Bun Feet. This Buffet/Side Cabinet retains all of its' original hardware. This includes the Hinges, Ornate Pierced Long Escutcheons, Drop Pulls, Locks, and Skeleton Keys. ANTIQUE FURNITURE RARE ENGLISH VICTORIAN GRAMAPHONE CABINET CONVERTED INTO A COCKTAIL CABINET

Circa: 1890 Dimensions: 31" wide x 20" deep x 40" high Stock Number: E0808-0106 This is a beautiful, English Victorian Gramophone Cabinet which has been converted into a Cocktail Cabinet. It is made of Oak and has a rich, deep oak patina. It is in very good condition. The Cabinet has Lift Top Lid with a beautifully formed Ogee Edge. The front of the Lid is embellished with a Central Diamond Block and Small Diamond Blocks at each end. This motif carries on into the Double Doors below. They have Vertical Diamond Blocks at center with Turned Oak Knobs above. There are Small Diamond Blocks embellishing each corner. The Lift Top opens to reveal Two Drink Mixing Surfaces. On the left is a Shallow Mirrored Surface. The Deep Compartment on the right is Oak. The inside of the Lid has an "ACADEMY" Maker's Mark. The Double Doors open to reveal a roomy interior for storing your wine and liqueur collection. The Cabinet stands upon beautifully turned, Barley Twist Legs with Tear Drop Feet. These are connected by Quadrangular Stretchers. There is a Ornate Circular Brass Key Hole Cover over the hole where the Winding Key used to be. This is a lovely English Victorian Converted Cocktail Cabinet. If you enjoy entertaining, you will find this gorgeous Cabinet to be a wonderful conversation piece. -
ANTIQUE 2-TEIR DUMB WAITER SERVING TABLE

Circa: 1890 Dimensions: 21" wide x 21" deep x 31" high Stock Number: A0708-0003 This is a gorgeous Victorian Dumb Waiter. This piece was designed to do just as the name suggests, replace a servant while entertaining. It is quite unique and a beautiful piece of furniture. The Dumb Waiter has Two Tiers. Each of these is embellished with a Herringbone Pattern of Parquetry around the outer Edge, while a lush Pattern of Flame Mahogany embellishes the center. A beautifully turned, Vase Shaped Pedestal supports the Tiers. The Table is supported upon Triple Splayed Legs. The Legs are carved with lush Acanthus Leaf Scrolls at the top and over the Paw Feet. English Gothic 18th Century Bookcase/ Wine Cupboard

Circa: 1790 Dimensions: 49" wide x 27" deep x 71" high Stock Number: E0708-0069 This is a stunning English Renaissance Bookcase/ Wine Cabinet. It is made of Oak and has a rich, deep oak patina. The Bookcase has a Deeply Pronounced Cornice. The Frieze below is carved with a gorgeous Laurel Leaf Garland. Laurel Leaf Garlands also decorate the sides of the piece. The carving of a gentleman's' silhouette is known as a Romaine Medallion. There is one at the center of the Frieze, as well as in the middle of each intricately carved Panel of the Six Doors below. Each Silhouette depicts a different person. This is a striking piece of furniture! The interior is quite functional. There is a Shelf flowing across the Top Compartment. This roomy interior could store a sizable collection of books. The Bookcase/Wine Cabinet is carved with beautiful Vertical Fluting and Reeding down the Stiles which flank the Doors. They flow into the Stile Feet. The Bookcase/ Wine Cabinet is very masculine. It would be perfect for a gentleman's' library. It would also make an excellent Wine Cabinet.
