More About Byakuya Kuchiki Byakuya Kuchiki is the 28th head of a noble shinigami family and shows his nobleility better than attitude in both the material and spirit world. Byakuya's zanpakuto is Senbonzakura (A thousand Cherry Blossoms) when first released it fragments into a multitude of nearly imperceptible blades that can only be seen by the refracted light making them appear as cherry blossoms. The advanced release of Senbonzakura elongates these blades into full length swords that surround both Byakuya and his opponent allowing no interference. Byakuya can use these blades any number at a time but chooses to only wield one. The second form can also be coalesced into one mighty glowing sword and granting Byakuya large feathered wings and a halo of pure spirit energy dealing incredible amounts of damage to those who oppose him.
