With the high cost of travel these days, one might wonder if it is worth the trouble to take a travel pillow and/or travel blanket along on a trip.

In my opinion, it depends on a few different things: 

1. How long is your flight and how rested do you want to be when you get there?

On long flights, and those that fly late at night, there isn't much to do but sleep.  Sure there are movies but what do you do when the movies are turned off because most of the cabin is sleeping?  Airlines are now charging passengers for the use of airline blankets and pillows and do you really want to pay $5 for one small pillow that does nothing to help you sleep better in a already cramped seat. 

Have you ever slept leaning on the window, or maybe leaning on the person next to you using your jacket or sweater folded up as a pillow?  How did that work out for you? 

Why not have your very own travel pillow that you know is clean because you are the ONLY one that used it, and it easily stows in your carry on bag.  You could even take along an anti-bacterial Dust Mite Free pillow case to cover the pillow while traveling. 

2. Do you enjoy arriving at your travel desination totally worn out from no sleep because you booked the cheapest "red eye" flight you could find.  Why do you think they call it the "Red Eye".

With today's economy, we are all shopping for cheaper flights so why not arrive a little more rested because you at least got a little sleep while using a quality head and neck pillow that comforts your head and neck.

Travel does not have to be a chore.  There are so many things on the market now that allow you to enjoy every trip you take without breaking the bank.

The Curse of the Black Pearl DVD 2 Disc Collector's Edition

 I loved this movie! Of course I have to admit, I like just about anything that has Johnny Depp and/or Orlando Bloom in it. Sorry, but it's true.  I do enjoy Keira Knightley too, she's a great actress.

If you enjoy Pirate movies, then you certainly enjoy watching this DVD many times over.  Not only does it have the movie, this particular 2 Disc Collectors Edition includes many extras like:

Maybe you never considered shopping for Cammo gear but maybe you will now. Once you've seen some of the sharp Cammo style gear being made in the Luggage industry you may reconsider the style of carry on bag you take on your next family vacation.

Duffel bags have become the staple of travelers today. Why? Easy, airlines are now charging $15-$20 for your checked suitcase so people are doing everything they can to avoid having to wait in the ticket counter line and check a bag. Why not do what you can to carry your things with you and avoid the lines and the fees. Problem is, what carry on bag do you choose to use when you want to carry as much as possible, yet still be able to get it on the airplane as carry on. After all, with everyone trying to avoid extra luggage fees, more people are taking carry on bags so the space in the overhead bins is going to be very very limited.

Airlines now only allow, one carry on bag and one personal item. For me, I MUST have my lap top with me so I choose to use my lap top Messenger bag, or a good sized backpack as my personal item (easy to put my wallet, cell phone, and make up bag in it). With the important stuff covered in one of these bags, I then carry a 20" carry on bag with some clothes, bath products, and 1 to 2 pair of shoes.  I have also gotten very good at carrying Travel Size Sample Size products in my carry on bag so I don't need to weigh down my bag with full size shampoo and I don't violate regulations when going through security. I don't have a Cammo Print Bag yet, but they are more appealing every day.  Imagine not having to worry that you pick up someone else's bag, or they pick yours by mistake.  Imagine the horror of getting to your destination only to learn you have someone elses bag and clothing.

I was very surprised when I accidentally came across the "Good Dog Coffee". I have to admit, I was curious because I really wanted to know what a Good Dog, had to do with coffee.

Turns out, the Good Dog Coffee company loves their dogs as much as their coffee. Makes sense. I guess I can relate to that.

We all know how great Granite countertops are and how tough they are when found in our kitchens, so wouldn't it make sense that anything made from Granite is going to have some value?

Imagine the, a Granite food warmer for your kitchen table. Not only does the granite part look great, it is durable, but now you have a way to keep your food warm while it sits on your table during a meal.

Granite hot plates are nothing new, but I'm surprised by how little they are actually used. Honestly, I had never even thought about how effective they are and I am one of the fussy people that hates my hot food served cold.

In my opinion, Granite is probably one of the most sought after materials in home construction, especially in kitchens. I had my home remodeled in 2006 and I was fortunate enough to get black granite countertops and they are beautiful and more importantly, for my family, they are tough and durable. I know black granite sounds funny, but with the cherry wood cabinets, it looks beautiful.  It's actually more of a dark green granite with specks of color in it.

Thomas Kinkade "is an American Painter of realistic, bucolic, and idyllic subjects. He is most notable for the mass marketing of his work as printed reproductions and other license products." (wikepedia) Kinkade is known as "Thomas Kinkade, Painter of Light" and he has many different Bradford Exchange Collectibles for people to purchase.

The Bradford Exchange is probably one of the best places to get just about anything from a Kincade collector series because there are things like the Kinkade Calendar, Collector plates, figurines, and many other items that people exchange with one another. You can find lamps, jewelry, Christmas collections, and just about anything else you might be searching for. 

If you've never seen the work of Thomas Kincade, you really need to see the beautiful work that he does. His paintings come to life with color and the light that you see in his pictures is nothing short of utterly beautiful.

One of the key features of the Kinkade collection is the glowing highlights of his pictures. He paints settings such as gardens, streams, stone cottages, and lighthouses. He also depicts various Christian themes such as crosses and churches.

Personally, I find his work to be very soothing and calming. I don't have any Kinkade lithographs or paintings at this point, but I will some day.

At this point in my life, I own a few of the Thomas Kinkade collector series plates, tea light lantern, and illuminated Christmas tree. Another one of the Kinkade collections I own is the. This is a beautiful wooden perpetual calendar with 30-50 tiles for each day and 12 monthly collector Tile Plates, for each month of the year.  Thomas Kinkade, Seasons of Light, Stained-Glass Calendar seriesThe wooden calendar holder has many led lights in it and when it is powered up, it lights up the tile plate sitting in front of the lights.
