I love finding Coach and Dooney purses. This week I have been finding out much about vintage bags, vintage as in about 10 years old, but collectable.

I have a Big Duck Dooney bag up for auction right now, I bought a Dooney bag from a lady for myself, she also had this little tiny bag to sell. I thought it was cute, but couldn't imagine that I would use it. It has the Duck symbol on the front but the duck is huge! It is a cute bag, but not for me. She wanted to sell them both, so she gave me a great deal on the little one. I figured it would sell on ebay for about $20. I get home and start looking for bags like it, it took me awhile since I didn't know that it was called Big Duck. The one I found in navy was selling for about $70 at the time. I was shocked! I searched for more and found several in ebay stores for $129 to $179. I watched several of them. The other day an ivory one sold for $179!! I couldn't believe it! I decided to throw mine on for $179 or best offer. I wish I had known about the 20 cent listing day, I would have waited and put it on for $150 just to test the waters. I couldn't find a white one on ebay or in completed auctions, which, mine is white. I was hoping that it would be ultra rare and get a buyer right off the bat. I have had one lady say that she has been looking for a white Big Duck for years. I am excited to see what happens.

I also found a vintage Coach bag. It doesn't have a serial number inside but does have the Coach creed. Also, no hang tag. It is authentic though. I think it is a Bonnie Cashin coach. It is really odd looking. Box shaped, open at the top with both sides like two large coin purses. I didn't know that the style is called Kiss. The clasp lock at the top. The middle section is big enough to hold a water bottle. That would look really weird, but that is what it reminds me off. These bags seem to sell for $60 to $80. I found several in Stores for over $200, which seems rediculous, I guess they think they can get that for them. I haven't put mine up for auciton yet.

I do have a totally cute Patch Print LILLY PULITZER shift dress up in a size 6. It has hibiscus flowers and Tiki Huts on it. Mostly shades of pink and green.
