I have always loved Fiesta Ware. As a child, my grandmother used it as her normal dinner ware. It was so colorful. Her table always looked fantastic. When she passed away, I received her vast collection of the stuff. It stayed in storage for several years, but when I ran across it a few years ago, I decided it was time to make a place for it in my kitchen.
When I got into the Antique business about 10 years ago, I started buying pieces when I came across them at auctions and at estate sales. Soon I had more than I could use or store so I started reseaching these items and found out some of it is now worth quite a bit of money. Thus it grew into a business. I am constantly in seach of vintage Fiesta Ware.
I now have customers who come to me looking for certain pieces so they can complete their collections. I try to help the best that I can. One good book that provides information on vintage Fiesta Ware is "Warman's Fiesta Ware" by Mark F. Moran. This book has good pictures and pricing guidelines.
If you are interested in purchasing vintage Fiesta Ware you can find a pretty good selection of items at my website: www.kaysantiquesandcollectibles.com
