And you thought that Dollhouses were from times past...well, you were wrong! The newer dollhouses have interactive pieces, fireplaces that light up, radios that play and the like. Your family can be made up of what ever type of family unit you like and there are an abundance of accessories for camping, pools, barbecues, pets and their accessories etc. The nice thing is that so many companies make the houses in similar sizes that allows the furniture to be interchangeable as well as the people. I watched some little girls playing at my granddaughter's house and learned a few things myself. The jargon is definitely different than when I played with Revlon Dolls in the 60's. So if you would like to expand your child's universe and mind provide a great dollhouse and let the learning begin!
