SPRING HAS FRESH JACARANDA AND ORCHID PODS GREAT BASKETS
When May rolls around the trees are ready to burst and spread their seeds. I collect every year the freshest orchid, jacaranda,arrow, and star pods. They are gorgeous attached to a basket, strung into a garland with some pine cones, or mixed in a potpourri with some essential oils. the colors and the smell are enticing. I keep them in an air controlled environment to keep them fresh and dry so the don't get moldy. I have attached some pics of them for you to see and get ideas what natural piece of art you can make using the pods.
