We are a small family business based in the Shetland Islands selling a range of antique or vintage items, collectables and decorative home products.
We focus on items that both functional and beautiful, mainly for the dining room table but also for most rooms of the house where a little corner or windowsill could be enhanced by a little piece of lovely nineteenth or early twentieth century design.
We try to operate as closely to a real shopping experience as possible. We provide plenty of very large photographs of our items, and where there are faults we will describe them in our item details, except for very minor flaws commensurate with age and use. In this way we hope to compensate our buyers for not being able to pick up and examine the objects for themselves. We also ship very quickly. Our buyers may not be able to take home their items the second they have paid for it, but we try to provide the next best thing.
Most of our items are silver plated or metalware objects. Our aim is to keep a good range of tea or coffee services and cutlery in stock, subject to availability.

Shipping:
We ship through the Royal Mail, as it is the quickest means to deliver items to our customers following payment. Courier services are limited in our remote area in the Scottish islands. We usually ship by first class post to UK buyers and through the Royal Mail Airmail Small Packets Service to international destinations.
