Herbert Terry & Sons of Redditch,England have been making anglepoise lamps since the 1930's. The popularity of the roll-rim deco-style lamps (the 1227) has slightly overshadowed the early Type 75 of which this is a fine example. Coming as it does with a classic 60's look and yet retaining the best features of the earlier lamps... a cast aluminium "yoke" adjustable springs and a locking mechanism on the arms this is a great lamp and will really look the part in any modern environment. We've refinished it to a very high standard and would suggest that this is a bargain at this price. Take a look at our other lamps also and feel free to ask any questions. This lamp is in fantastic condition and is entirely original with the exception, possibly of the switch/bulbholder although this is bakelite and certainly from that period. It has been rewired of course using a modern version of the woven cable and it is earthed. It is an absolute bargain. This kind of quality and design for this kind of price is ludicrously cheap.

This Sapele Logarhythm is one of only 10 remaining Special Editions produced this summer. We have picked the finest pieces of timber for these models, fitted them with a special metalised plate and coated them with 6 coats of Danish oil ~ rubbing down the surface with fine grade wet & dry paper between each coat. We sell off our B stock Logs on Ebay. They are all in full working order but usually have a manufacturing fault like a knot in the timber or a mark where a cutting tool has slipped for example. They are always guaranteed for 1 year and 2 years on application to our website.
