Bargain Gems was started by Pete Warren, a Medical Missionary (MD) to Kashmir, Caribbean Islands, Mexico and other countries, and his grandson David Warren. Pete's objective was to make quality jewelry from the hundreds of thousands of dollars in precious stones that he accumulated over the years as well as provide an excellent bargain for the buyer. Although Pete has past away, his grandson continues running the business with the same integrity and commitment.
The jewelry is handcrafted in New Mexico from real solid Gold or Sterling Silver. Our gems are natural not man-made. All our Gemstones are also always Gem quality or better, never the cheap cloudy, or silky or heavily flawed stones. We get our stones directly from the mines and have them cut ourselves saving you money. Many of the pieces we sell are independently appraised and David is a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Graduate Gemologist.
