Why Hello!! It's the jeweller here. With two Ls, despite the wibbly wobbly red line telling me otherwise. Despite woes in the financial markets, Greece potentially defaulting on its loans and the middle east in turmoil we can be glad of one thing - The continual and pervasive allure of all things shiny, to pretty much all women! There is no real evolutionary reason for it, the desire for precious metals/stones cannot be explained thus. Materialism plays a small part. Hold up a diamond ring to a baby and he/she will be as beguiled as Elizabeth Taylor or Jackie O. I can't explain my own desire for shiny metal and stones, sometimes even I find it hard to part with them. But as long as the world keeps turning I'll be sourcing precious items, be it Tiffany, Cartier, Bulgari, Chopard or an unique antique old cut diamond...
