The Rock Shed is a family owned business started over 40 years ago. We are located in Keystone, South Dakota, About 3 miles from Mt Rushmore. We started out literally in a small 12' x 10' "Shed", Thus the name. Over the years and after a couple of moves we have accumulated TONS of rocks and Lots of Experience. We learned much by trial and error. We have a lapidary shop in which we do much of our own cutting and polishing for our shop.
Specialties:
We sell polished rock, fossils, minerals, rock tumblers and equipment, silicon carbide grit, lapidary supplies as well as rough rock for cutting and tumbling. We have many collector quality mineral specimens from the Black Hills and other areas. We strive to have something for everyone.

We ship the cheapest way. We use USPS priority mail flat rate boxes. We use FED EX ground for heavier boxes.
